Two years after the outbreak of war in Sudan, the MSF Lebanon Branch Office took part in the Sudanese Film Night, organized by Nadi Lekol Nas. The event was held on April 15, 2025, at Dar El-Nimer for Arts and Culture in Beirut and featured the screening of five short Sudanese films, including an animated film produced by MSF titled Witness. This silent short tells the story of a Sudanese girl who falls victim to the ongoing conflict in her country, denouncing the silence surrounding the world’s largest displacement crisis.

AbdelHalim AbdAllah, Communications Advisor for MSF programs in Sudan, presented an overview of the organization’s humanitarian response in the country. He highlighted the areas where MSF teams are present and the services provided to both internally displaced people and refugees in neighbouring camps.

The evening also featured a photography exhibition showcasing images taken by MSF teams in Sudanese refugee camps in Chad.
