IPC Week

International Infection Prevention and Control Week (IIPCW) - An annual event that takes place every year during the third week in October (16-22); The week is dedicated to infection prevention and control (IPC), with the intention of raising the profile of IPC and highlighting the critical role infection prevention and control is playing in improving the quality and ensuring patient, staff and communities’ safety.

Our MSF dedicated theme for this year is “Prevent, Control Infections and Save Lives”. What it means is that we highlight our continuous call of everyone’s responsibilities and accountabilities for IPC and the continuous investment to quality of care. Remember that IPC is always part of high quality patient care which basically saving lives as part of the outcome.
